Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones identified the victim as Myles Walker, born July 1, 2025. Jones said that doctors discovered a frontal hematoma, multiple brain bleeds and a fractured collarbone before the infant died late Tuesday night. Willie George Northern Jr. of Kathleen now faces charges of murder, first degree cruelty to children and tampering with evidence in connection with Myles’ death, per the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. Houston County District Attorney Eric Edwards confirmed Northern was supposed to be on house arrest at his Kathleen home with electronic monitoring at the time of the incident. Edwards said only a judge could have cleared him to be at his girlfriend’s Fairmont Avenue residence in Macon on Sunday night.
