A Hart County man has been convicted on multiple child molestation counts and will spend the rest of his life in prison. Jeremy “Bob” Green was found guilty Friday by a jury of his peers in Hart County Superior Court. The jury found him guilty of Aggravated Child Molestation, Child Molestation, Statutory Rape, Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes, and Sexual Exploitation of a Child for subjecting a female child to years of abuse in Hart County. Green was sentenced to two consecutive Life Sentences followed by 90 years in confinement. He was arrested in June 2021 and later indicted on those charges. The six-count indictment alleged Green molested and raped “a teenage girl under the age of 16 from July 2015 to November 2015.” That girl was later identified as Jennifer Cobb, who came forward in 2021 to report the crimes against her. However, according to investigators who interviewed Jennifer, she said the sexual molestation began years earlier, at age 11, when Green was her gymnastics coach at the Bell Family YMCA in Hartwell.
