A woman wanted for kidnapping and burglary has been taken into custody after a BOLO alert in South Carolina. According to the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office, Margaret Mahan, 68, was arrested on Friday. The GCSO says it received a ‘be on the lookout alert’ that Mahan could be in the area. “Her vehicle and license plate were spotted as she drove on Ocean Highway near Trace Drive,” the sheriff’s office said in a social media post. A “missing endangered juvenile” was found in her vehicle, rescued and reunited with caregivers. Mahan is being housed at the Georgetown County Detention Center, awaiting extradition to York County.
