LEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — An accident on Highway 82 in Lee County is causing traffic Friday, July 31, afternoon. First responders at the scene said two people were taken to the hospital, but no serious injuries were reported. According to officials in Lee County, the crash occurred near the Raceway on US-82, just outside of Albany. A black SUV reportedly failed to yield when attempting to turn left onto US-82. The SUV was hit by a white car, officials said. The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) is reportedly investigating the crash further. WALB is working to learn more.
