Published 1:28 pm Thursday, July 23, 2026 TIFTON — A Powerball lottery ticket sold in Tifton was a $50,000 winner in the drawing Wednesday. The ticket was purchased at Flash Foods #0173, 1002 W. Eighth St., according to a press release from the Georgia Lottery Corporation the following day. The release did not identify the winner or say whether he or she had claimed the prize yet. The Tifton ticket was the only $50,000 winner in the drawing, which means it matched four of the five white-ball numbers and the Powerball. Winning numbers for the July 22 Powerball drawing were 4, 5, 22, 50, 58 and the Powerball was 1. The Power Play was 3X. Saturday’s Powerball jackpot increased to an estimated $600 million. Meanwhile, Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot reached an estimated $743 million. Both lotteries include players in multiple states.
