If you’re looking for work, Goodwill of North Georgia is hosting the Northeast Georgia Regional Job Fair events next month in Lavonia. The job fair is taking place August 12 at the Lavonia Community Center on Bear Creek Road from 1p to 4p. This free job fair event is open to the public and features employers from manufacturing, healthcare, staffing and more. At the job fair, you will be able to meet with employers from across Northeast Georgia who are hiring, explore career opportunities, network with industry leaders and take next steps toward your future. And if you’re not sure how to create a resume or fill out a job application, Goodwill of North Georgia is offering free Resume and Application Assistance on August 10 at the Lavonia Carnegie Library to help you update your resume, complete applications, and feel confident walking into the event. If you plan to go to the job fair on August 12, make sure to dress professionally for an interview and bring copies of your resume.
