The resident told officers he arrived home around 3:30 p.m. and found items scattered throughout the house. He said there were no signs of forced entry. In the master bedroom, the mattress had been propped up, and in the living room, a keyless‑entry gun safe was discovered open. A total of nine firearms and approximately 2,000 rounds of ammunition were reported stolen. The resident estimated the value of the missing items at $5,000 and provided full make, model, and serial number information for entry into the Georgia Crime Information Center database. The resident told officers that only one other person had access to the safe’s entry code. That individual had left the residence earlier in the day and was instructed to leave the house key outside before departing. The key was found where directed. Officers also spoke with a neighbor who reported seeing a gold vehicle at the residence the previous day. According to the neighbor, three individuals, a Black male, a Black female, and a white male, were seen entering the home and leaving shortly afterward. Following the investigation, Morrow has been charged with with felony theft by taking and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
