The company will be accepting nominations from September 1 through September 30, 2026, encouraging community members to submit stories on behalf of someone they believe truly needs a full roof replacement. If you know a single parent, someone who is at home on disability, someone who is struggling financially or just someone who needs a little help, then this is a chance for you to help. Nominations can be submitted by emailing a brief story to [email protected]. The winner will be announced on October 6, 2026. The selected recipient will receive a brand-new 30-year architectural shingle roof—completely free of charge. Once chosen, Oak Ridge Roofing will coordinate the ordering of materials and schedule the installation. Joe Tatum, Oak Ridge Roofing owner, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to give back: “We feel incredibly blessed to be in a position to support the community that has supported us for so many years,” he said. This initiative is just one of the many ways Oak Ridge Roofing continues to build strong foundations, not just on homes, but within the the Northwest Georgia area.
