ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — An employee of the Atlanta Police Department was hit by a vehicle and killed Tuesday morning in DeKalb County. The incident, which happened at Moreland Avenue and McDonough Boulevard, closed all lanes of traffic during the morning rush hour. The Georgia Department of Transportation said the accident involved a pedestrian. The employee has not yet been identified, and no charges have been announced.
