Dallas Brass set to celebrate America’s 250th for TEF – Thomasville Times-Enterprise

Published 10:04 am Monday, November 2, 2026 THOMASVILLE — The dynamic Dallas Brass returns to south Georgia to celebrate America’s 250th birthday as the next performing artists in Thomasville Entertainment Foundation’s 89th performance season. Taking the stage on Tuesday, November 10, the ensemble plans an American musical journey through history with well-loved American songs and patriotic pieces that defined the character of a nation, just before the celebration of Veterans Day. Concert time is 7:30 p.m. at the Thomasville Center for the Arts. A limited number of seats are still available at $40 for adults, $15 for students.  Free Tickets for Teens are also available for local high school students, made possible by a grant from the Thomasville Antiques Show Foundation and an anonymous gift to the TEF Education Fund. Now in its 44th year and with six studio albums, Dallas Brass has become one of America’s foremost musical ensembles. Founded in Texas in 1983, the group has performed at prestigious U.S. venues from Carnegie Hall to the Kennedy Center, as well as a number of overseas tours.  Dallas Brass is making its second appearance on the TEF Concert Series, having performed here in 1992. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.tefconcerts.com or call the TEF office at 229-226-7404.
