A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Part 2 of Article 15 of Chapter 1 of Title 10 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the “Fair Business Practices Act of 1975,” so as to ban commercial cheating services that target students and examinees seeking a professional license as an unlawful, unfair, and deceptive trade practice; to provide for definitions; to provide for statutory construction; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 2 of Chapter 19 of Title 15 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the State Bar of Georgia, so as to provide for the responsibilities of the administrative arm of the Supreme Court relative to the practice of law in this state; to repeal provisions for the establishment of a unified self-governing bar association to be known as the ‘State Bar of Georgia,’ composed of all persons licensed to practice law in this state; to repeal provisions relative to the amendment of rules and regulations of the State Bar of Georgia; to provide for legislative findings and intent; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 23 of Title 47 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the Georgia Judicial Retirement System, so as to provide for membership in the system for individuals employed as the director of the Prosecuting Attorneys Qualifications Commission; to provide for an election for such current employees; to provide for transfer of funds; to provide for payment of actuarial costs; to provide for transfer of membership service; to provide for earnable monthly compensation for purposes of contributions and benefit amounts; to provide for applicability; to provide for related matters; to provide conditions for an effective date and automatic repeal; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 2 of Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to elementary and secondary education, so as to provide for school lunch and school breakfast programs for public school students in this state; to require local school systems to maximize access to federal funding; to provide for participating in the United States Department of Agriculture’s Community Eligibility Provision (CEP); to provide for rules and regulations; to encourage the use of Georgia grown products in school breakfast and lunch programs; to provide a short title; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 17-7-70.1 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to trial upon accusations in certain felony and misdemeanor cases and trial upon plea of guilty or nolo contendere, so as to allow for offenses that are not serious violent felonies, sexual felonies, or other certain offenses to be charged by accusation of the district attorney; to provide for definitions; to provide for conditions; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 1 of Chapter 24 of Title 33 and Article 1 of Chapter 18 of Title 45 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions relative to insurance and the state employees’ health insurance plan and post-employment health benefit fund, respectively, so as to require coverage for healthcare services for pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders associated with streptococcal infection (PANDAS) and pediatric acute onset neuropsychiatric syndrome (PANS) in accordance with nationally recognized clinical practice guidelines; to provide for definitions; to allow for deductibles; to prohibit special deductibles; to provide for rules and regulations; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Titles 20, 26, 31, 33, and 43 of the O.C.G.A., relating to education, food, drugs, and cosmetics, health, insurance, and professions and businesses; to amend Chapter 4 of Title 25 of the O.C.G.A., relating to firefighter standards and training; to amend Article 2 of Chapter 3 of Title 35 of the O.C.G.A., relating to Georgia Crime Information Center; to amend Article 3 of Chapter 8 of Title 42 of the O.C.G.A., relating to first offenders; to amend Code Section 17-10-21 of the O.C.G.A., relating to vacating of sentence for trafficking victim defendants; to provide for related matters; to provide for effective dates and applicability; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Title 47 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to retirement and pensions, so as to permit certain persons who would otherwise be required to be members of the Public School Employees Retirement System to make an irrevocable election to become members of the Teachers Retirement System of Georgia; to provide for conditions; to prohibit transfers of creditable service; to provide for related matters; to provide conditions for an effective date and automatic repeal; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
