A RESOLUTION proposing an amendment to the Constitution so as to provide for the appropriation of funds received from certain legal judgments or settlements; to revise the disposition of excess, changed, or unanticipated federal funding allocated to the state; to provide for related matters; to provide for the submission of this amendment for ratification or rejection; and for other purposes.
A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 31C of Chapter 2 of Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, the “Completion Special Schools Act,” so as to require certain local school systems to either be a party to a collaborative operating agreement with a completion special school or provide certain education programs and services to students in grades nine through 12; to require local school systems to provide to completion special schools the contact information for students who stop attending or withdraw from the local school system, subject to conditions and exceptions; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 1 of Chapter 13 of Title 50 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions regarding administrative procedure, so as to provide that the “Georgia Administrative Procedure Act” shall apply to all executive branch agencies; to provide for certain exceptions; to revise a definition; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 8A of Chapter 1 of Title 10 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to electric vehicle charging stations, so as to revise and provide for standards for display of electricity dispensed by electric vehicle charging stations; to amend Article 1 of Chapter 9 of Title 48 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to motor fuel tax, so as to provide for an exception for collection of motor fuel taxes relative to electricity delivered by certain electric vehicle charging stations; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
A BILL to be entitled an Act to provide a homestead exemption from Pickens County school district ad valorem taxes for educational purposes in the amount of $40,000.00 of the assessed value of the homestead for residents of that school district who are 62 years of age or older and whose income does not exceed $40,000.00; to provide for definitions; to specify the terms and conditions of the exemption and the procedures relating thereto; to provide for applicability; to provide for compliance with constitutional requirements; to provide for a referendum, effective dates, automatic repeal, mandatory execution of election, and judicial remedies regarding failure to comply; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
A BILL to be entitled an Act to provide a homestead exemption from Cherokee County ad valorem taxes for county purposes in an amount as determined from the proceeds generated from the collection of the retail homestead option sales and use tax for residents of that county; to provide for definitions; to specify the terms and conditions of the exemption and the procedures relating thereto; to provide for applicability; to provide for compliance with constitutional requirements; to provide for a referendum, effective dates, automatic repeal, mandatory execution of election, and judicial remedies regarding failure to comply; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
