BULLOCH COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) – The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man wanted on a kidnapping warrant after deputies pulled him over on Highway 67, the sheriff’s office said. The sheriff’s office got a tip from the Georgia State Patrol about a possible kidnapping suspect headed toward Bulloch County from North Carolina. Deputies got the suspect vehicle’s tag number and used the Flock Safety camera system to track it down. Investigators learned two girls, ages 11 and 15, had been reported kidnapped, and that the driver, 21-year-old Seth Tallmadge, was the suspect in the case. Tallmadge was arrested on a kidnapping warrant out of Yadkin County and is set for an extradition hearing to be sent back to North Carolina. He was taken to the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office pending further proceedings. The two girls were safely recovered and reunited with their parents, the sheriff’s office said. Sheriff Brown said he wanted to recognize the deputies and investigators for their quick response and teamwork in bringing the case to a safe end.
