ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Cobb County police said five suspects are in custody and an officer is injured after a chase Wednesday. Patrol officers with the Cobb County Police Department were involved in a vehicle pursuit that ended near 4900 Riverview Road in Sandy Springs, said a spokesperson for the department. Officers took five suspects into custody after “an extensive search” for them. One officer reportedly sustained a non-life-threatening injury during the incident. The spokesperson said all suspects have been captured, so there is no danger to the public. Further details on the incident, including why police were chasing the suspects or how the officer was injured, have not been released.
