Another Hall County deputy resigns amid investigation into unauthorized Flock searches

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A Hall County Sheriff’s Office deputy resigned Friday while under investigation as part of the agency’s audit of its Flock Safety camera system, officials said. Brandon Sanders submitted his resignation Sept. 4, according to the sheriff’s office. Investigators found Sanders used the Flock system on multiple occasions while off duty to search various license plates without authorization from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, officials said. Sanders had worked for the agency since December 2021. The alleged violations involving Sanders will be referred to the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council for review.
