State Senator Colton Moore from Dade County on Tuesday joined a large crowd of Republicans seeking the Georgia House 14 seat that was given up by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. Colton Moore is an auctioneer and truck driver. Sixteen Republicans and two Democrats have qualified thus far. On Monday, Clayton Fuller, district attorney for the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit, and Nicky Lama, former Dalton City Council member, signed up for the race. James Marty Brown, a business owner from Tunnel Hill, and Larry E. Hilley, who is self-employed and lives in Catoosa County, also qualified on Tuesday. Also joining the race Tuesday on the GOP side were also Beau Brown, a risk engineer from Silver Creek in Floyd County; Eric Cunningham of Paulding County, who is in the railroad supply chain business; Jared Craig, an attorney from Coweta County; Megahn Strickland, a travel consultant from Marietta; Reagan Box, who is self-employed and lives in Rome; Star Black, a retiree from Kennesaw; and Tom Gray, a pastor from Powder Springs.
