Commercial development , townhomes coming to Euharlee

A new commercial strip and townhomes may be on the way to Euharlee. The owners of Eagle View Mobile Home Park, 937 Euharlee Road, submitted a site plan to Euharlee City Council at its Jan. 6 meeting that would redevelop the mobile home park. “It is currently a mixed zoning district of C1 commercial and R3 multifamily housing,” said Euharlee Community and Economic Development Director Katie Gobbi. “It is currently a legal nonconforming use with mobile homes still there. There have been ongoing code enforcement issues so the owner has partnered with some new investors to get a site plan approved.” The parcel is about 9 acres, and owned by Pak Eagle Homes LLC. According to the Georgia Secretary of State’s website, Pak Eagle Homes is based in Acworth and its registered agent is Rana Ahmaed, also of Acworth. The website qPublic states the fair market value of the land as $1,051,500. “The plan is to have a commercial strip on the road frontage and then 97 townhomes,” Gobbi said. “The applicant said there are still 26 units that are occupied. Legally they are required to give 30 days notice to vacate the properties prior to starting the development.” Housing is something the Euharlee area
