Georgia Writers Museum welcomes best-selling author Robert Gwaltney

Georgia Writers Museum in Eatonton will bring award-winning, best-selling author Robert Gwaltney as the August Meet the Author presenter on Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.). Filled with lush, vivid descriptions and wild plot twists, “Sing Down the Moon” follows 16-year-old Leontyne Skye on her quest to escape the devastating heritage of her mother on the Georgia barrier island known as Good Hope. Right off, too, Gwaltney teases his readers with the mystery of “Tribulation Day,” and the accident that cost Leontyne the loss of her right hand and a partial loss of memory.
