ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Crews in DeKalb County were racing to clear a fallen tree that was blocking a road early Tuesday. Along with being a road hazard, the impediment risked rerouting school buses as well as morning commuters. According to Georgia Power’s outage map, about 15 customers were without power on Shady Oak Drive in Doraville. A tree removal company is on the scene along with Georgia Power personnel.
