COVINGTON — Newton County is joining communities across Georgia in a program to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs through the launch of the Foundational Leadership & Entrepreneur X-perience (FLEX) program. The new initiative is a partnership between the Newton County Industrial Development Authority (NCIDA), Newton Chamber of Commerce and Newton County Schools and will provide local high school students with the opportunity to turn ideas into real businesses while developing leadership, financial, marketing and communication skills.
