Round one over , but Winter Storm Fern still punching

The Floyd County E-911 Center reported no major ice storm issues Saturday night into Sunday, but the potential of danger from wintry weather is not over. “We were fortunate during this first round, and we’re hoping that continues as temperatures drop tonight,” the center posted on its social media accounts Sunday.
