The state-of-the-art microscope provides high-definition visualization that enhances both patient care and education, according to a press release from Colquitt Regional Health System. The integrated video system allows providers to photograph clinical findings, record procedures, and display a live view during examinations, helping patients better understand their diagnosis and treatment plan. The technology is used during a variety of ear, nose, and throat procedures, including diagnostic laryngoscopies, nasal endoscopies, ear tube placement, cerumen removal, and the evaluation and treatment of ear infections and other ear conditions.
