Undercover investigation exposes Early Co . man for distributing child pornography via online chat platforms

EARLY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — A former Early County man was caught distributing and receiving child sexual abuse material through online chat platforms, the Department of Justice (DOJ) said. The man pleaded guilty Thursday, Feb. 26, following an undercover investigation into his online activity, according to the DOJ. Bradley Love (37) is now facing up to 20 years in prison followed by at least five years of supervised release and a $250,000 fine, officials said. He pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of child pornography before Chief U.S. District Judge, Leslie Abrams Gardner. Love was reportedly found out through an undercover operation by a Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agent. The agent joined a “teen chat” room to message Love on a website called “chat-avenue.com” on Dec. 7, 2023, while Love was still living in Early County, the DOJ said. Eventually, the messaging between the undercover agent and Love moved to “Kik” and then to “Session,” both of which are private messaging platforms.
