UPDATE (9/8/26): A 42-year-old Macon man has been arrested in connection with the August 25 armed robbery at Baba-G Smoke. According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Nathan Taylor is charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault and kidnapping. He is being held without bond at the Bibb County Jail. The sheriff’s office says an investigator found and arrested Taylor in the 3500 block of Riverside Drive around 10 a.m. Tuesday after receiving a Macon Regional Crimestoppers tip. The robbery remains under investigation, and the sheriff’s office says Taylor could face additional charges. The release did not say if the second suspect has been identified or remains wanted.
