Forum attendees must be registered Georgia voters, with a registration deadline of Jan. 29, 2026. “This first forum will be interactive, informative, and fun,” according to district social media post. “Candidates will each have their own table where voters can speak with them directly. Attendees will receive a ‘passport’ and earn a stamp for visiting each candidate’s table. Those who complete their passport will be entered into a raffle for an excellent prize.” The special election for district is March 10, 2026, with a runoff on April 7, 2026, if no candidate earns a majority, which is likely considering the large number of hopefuls. Besides the 17 Republicans in the solidly GOP district, the field also includes three Democrats, one Libertarian and one Independent.
