Jay Costa and Gregg Edwards, a dolly grip who works on film and TV projects in Pittsburgh. Earlier in January, the film office had announced that 2025 was a banner year with multiple projects generating an estimated $300 million in economic impact. But the business does face questions about whether it can sustain that level of success with work underway in Harrisburg to expand the Pennsylvania Film Tax Credit and draw more film and TV productions to the region.
