Tiffany M. Lesueur, 35, was arrested on Monday after hospital staff allegedly saw her injecting a 'foreign substance' into her child's IV line using a syringe. The victim, who has not been identified, was been admitted to hospital last Friday due to injuries suffered from suspected abuse, according to local media. That same day, medical staff allegedly spotted Lesueur using a syringe to inject an unknown substance into her child's IV port. Hospital workers notified police of the incident and told them that whenever the mum visits, they would monitor her interactions with the child. While trawling through surveillance footage two days later, medics allegedly saw Lesueur try to contaminate her child's IV again.
