According to LaGrange Mayor Jim Arrington, Councilman Quay Boddie has resigned from the LaGrange City Council.Boddie pleaded guilty to single counts of misdemeanor public indecency and misdemeanor obstruction on Wednesday morning, but had indicated that he did not intend to resign.As part of a negotiated plea deal, Boddie was sentenced to 24 months Boddie probation and a $1,000 in Troup County Superior Court. According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI) investigation, Boddie exposed himself to an adult female LaGrange College student and denied the act to investigators, but later admitted the truth.
