THOMASVILLE — Five Star Credit Union Foundation has made a substantial $200,000 donation to the Five Star Credit Union Endowment Fund with the Southern Regional Technical College (SRTC) Foundation, bringing the 2024-established endowment to $250,000. This remarkable quarter-of-a-million-dollar gift represents a major milestone for the endowment and underscores Five Star Credit Union’s deep investment in the students and communities SRTC serves. It also marks the largest endowment fund held within the SRTC Foundation’s investment portfolio, a testament to the strength of this partnership. The endowed fund will preserve its principal while generating annual distributions for student scholarships. Once matured, this endowment will provide student scholarships every semester, ensuring sustained assistance for those in need.
