WAVERLY HALL, Ga. (WTVM) – Harris County Sheriff’s deputies are on the scene of a home near Pierce Road and Highway 208 outside the Waverly Hall city limits. A woman is dead after being found unresponsive outside a home at that location, according to sources. Harris County Coroner Joe Weldon confirmed a death investigation is underway outside Waverly Hall on Highway 208 involving a female. He said the family is being notified. Weldon said the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is processing the scene. He said people can reach out to the GBI or the Harris County Sheriff’s Office tomorrow. Copyright 2026 WTVM.
